Capitalization of wiki pages can be confusing. If you're restoring a unique page (i.e. not a generic template page like a Lua object) then use the search function to check for any similar pages in case someone has already restored it but under different capitalization.

Rules

We encourage volunteers and community members to help us restore the Wiki. However, there are a couple of guidelines you need to know before editing. These are different from the rules of Goodblox, but are still expected to be followed. Maintaining and restoring the Wiki is a lot of work. Follow these and we won't have a problem:

This isn't MySpace.

No personal pages other than userpages. If you want to advertise your place, post it in the forum, not here.

Project Pages

Do not edit or make these unless you have been instructed to. "Project Pages" have "Goodblox Wiki:" before the name. Feel free to comment on their discussion pages.

What to do when restoring a page

Where to get the pages from

Be sure to get your material from an archive of the Roblox Wiki from February 2009. If a page isn't exactly from February 2009, then just so long as it's close enough, it's fine.

Getting the page source

First hide the Wayback Machine navbar, and then click the "View Source" tab. Fingers crossed, the source for the page is available. If so, then you can just copy and paste in the source from the archive over to here.

If it isn't available, or the only source available is too new (mid-2010 and newer) then don't fear! Be sure to familiarize yourself with Wiki Formatting. It's not difficult at all to learn, so don't worry. You can also use the formatting toolbar just at the top of the edit view to assist you. Once you've got all of that you should be able to easily reconstruct the Wiki page.

If it's a template page like a Lua property, event or function then just get the source of one of the existing pages here, copy the entire source of one of the pages here, replace the details accordingly to the archived page and use that for the page source.

Replacing References

Be sure to replace any mention of "RBX" in Lua object references with "GBX", and replace any mention of "Roblox" with "Goodblox". Ask me if you're not entirely sure.

Make sure that a similar page doesn't already exist.

Capitalization of wiki pages can be confusing. If you're restoring a unique page (i.e. not a generic template page) then use the search function to check for any similar pages in case someone has already restored it but under different capitalization.

Assistance

If you need any help, feel free to ask any of these people.

One more thing. If you're here to cause trouble your account on Goodblox will be traced and you will get yourself a ban. So if you just want to be funny don't do it here.
